of the dozen ladies I was contacted by, they were all scamming.Refusal to call, text or do Yahoo IM gets you quickly dropped, even after their pleas for marriage, etc.
Pros none
Cons scammers who are in Ghana or Nigeria and do not match their profiles, trying to get your money for legal or financial debts. Some even do the scam where they say they need to ship their money to you but you must first send money to their lawyer.
I took membership of this site twice, at £130 for 6 weeks each time...so , expensive! They don't seem to be part of a 'group' of sites, so there is a sense of individuality. But the problem with this site is for women it's free to join, and when us guys pay to join, there is a sense of trying to get your moneys worth in a month, so end up sending as many emails as possible in a month, and the genuine woman find this lazy and off putting, so it's a bit of a catch 22. Also, when your membership is up, you can't retrieve your messages, and so you're cut off from people you've been in contact with. When I said 'genuine' there is definitely a large amount of time wasters or scammers on here...I was getting 'messages' from people all over the country who clearly hadn't read my profile, or had no idea what part of the country is what. They did have a social event near me last year I was lucky enough to get invited to, but was unable to get to because of my holiday. Hopefully there'll be another.
The best thing to come out of this site is I did meet up with a lady from it, and after a couple of times of meeting she told me about a similar site. The other site seemed more genuine, and better value for money...so at least by joining I.E., I got to find out out about another site, which in my opinion, seems better!
Pros Seems like lots of female members, and a good professional site layout.
Cons Not sure how genuine all the female members are, a sense of being fleeced with your membership, and very expensive, definitely not good value for money.
Before you read on remember that all dating sites pray on people's loneliness to get them to join...
It promises to let you meet women for free. In reality you get to set up a free account and enter your details, search and so on. When the emails and chats start rolling in to your account you then realise that you can't answer them unless you sign up... you are then asked to subscribe - IT IS NOT CHEAP!!
If you sign up for a limited 3 day trial be sure to notice the fact that if you don't cancel within 3 days you will get billed direct off your credit card for a full month at the full rate of £40 WITHOUT being asked, hardly free.
During the first few days after you have joined for free you'll get emails suggesting you look at various other sites - as soon as you look at them you'll be signed up to them too and of course the emails then start flooding in from them - all the sites are owned by the same company so the chances are that all the women you meet will also be on the other sites while you unwittingly shell out loadsamoney to 'meet' them.
I joined one of their sister sites for a 3day trial UpForIt (they also run Shagaholic, Milfberry, Plenty of Affairs, SugarBBW to name a few), and responded to the numerous emails and chats I'd had but had no response....odd that out of the nearly 100 women who had decided to contact me not one wanted responded when I answered them back...also odd that nearly all 'appeared' to be online at 4 or 5 in the morning but weren't. I concluded that either I am a complete muppet or these women don't exist, the emails and chats don't come from them but are dropped into your mailbox to get you to join up and they are shown online to get you to keep up your interest. When I went to cancel the repeat billing I was sent a 'cancellation code' and told to enter it when I next logged in, WTF?, of course there was nowhere to enter it at all. Meanwhile my creditcard company had blocked my card and when I asked why they told me it was because of certain people I'd been dealing with but they wouldn't tell me who. You decide.
I smell a rat with all of it and if you want any further proof do a hunt on Google and you'll come across pages bragging about how much you can make out of each subscriber if you become an affiliate, speaks for itself.
