I have tried a few dating sites before, both general and specifically for marrieds and to be honest have found them a real numbers game. Many of the members on these sites are not genuine and it can cost a fortune to keep plugging away for the eventual realistic and hopeful contact that will lead somewhere meaningful.

Forbidden Fruit Dating is different. Whilst it is (currently) much smaller than many dating sites, most of the members seem genuine and interesting. The gender split of members is unusually even and the site hosts a great forum where everyone seems to get on really well and offer each other advice on both extra marital affairs and real life. The joining fee is currently very reasonable.

Coverage of the whole country is a bit patchy at the moment, with London and the South East being best represenented. Hopefully, as the site grows and matures, this will change.

I have been a member for a few months now and regard the forum and the online community it builds up almost worth the price of admission alone. Where the site really comes into it's own though is that, largely through the forum, you get a much deeper understanding of people's personality than you would just via a dating site profile (FFD has those as well mind). Consequently, you can be much surer than normal of some kind of compatibility when asking for a date. Oh, and dates do happen, usually with surprisingly little effort. I have arranged 3 since I joined,out of 3 requests, and have now embarked on an ongoing affair with a lovely lady, which I am enjoying greatly.

One final feature of the site worth mentioning is the socials. They are arranged with regularity, both by the marvellously involved and energetic site owner and other members. They are well attended and great fun to boot. Members turn up in combinations of long term "couples", one-off "couples" and free and "single". Of course, the ratios of those categories can change during the course of a night. Everyone I have met has been charming, intelligent and very open and honest. Excellent fun.
