I joined Sara Eden late June 2015 as a Platinum Personal Consultant Membership Client for £6595. I asked at 45 years old would there be any problems with regards to finding a date and they said absolutely not. During my first month I went on 3 dates which was good fun. During my 2nd and 3rd months of membership very little took place. There were no dates and the communication from Sara Eden was very slow and I often had to chase them up. They admitted that due to e.g. servers being changed and other reasons that their services had been very poor and that my 2nd and 3rd month of membership would not be counted and added on to the end of my years membership. At this stage alarm bells should have been ringing but I tried to be positive.
I found that for £6595 I did not feel that I was receiving any form of personal consultancy. I arranged a meeting to discuss this at the end of my 2nd month of membership but after a couple of weekly phone calls all went quiet again. I put my membership on hold for 4 months as I was working overseas. I planned to rejoin in February 2016 but was offered a permanent position overseas from March 2016.
I explained my situation to Sara Eden and closed my membership but asked if they would consider a reimbursement of fees as I had only been a member for 3 months. To date I still have not received a reply from the agency six weeks later. This is both disappointing and disgusting. The terms and conditions state that there is no refund if you terminate your membership but surely unexpectedly relocating overseas is an unusual circumstance and some form of reimbursement could have been made at their discretion? Sara Eden have not even had the decency to reply one way or the other. This shows the level of their professionalism.
I joined the dating agency with good intentions but your money may be more wisely spent on other options. You definitely do not obtain a better service if you pay more. I cannot recommend Sara Eden to anyone. The whole process has been a tedious one rather than enjoyable. Is Karen Mooney and her team more interested in you or your money? I know the answer.
A lot of money for a very poor service. Paying more does not mean more attention. No common decency in replying to emails. They do not appear to care about their clients.
