A COMPLETE waste of time.

A COMPLETE waste of time.

I tried and tried again to make contact with people and make friends and chat to women on this site and yet was ignored. The profiles they make are shoddy and half hearted.

I made a profile with pic and good description. But after writing a good message explaining why I wanted to make contact with that person they would look at my profile and never reply, nothing. Often not even looking at my profile.

It just shows they like to have probably hundreds of men swiveling around them and they can just choose who they speak to.

RUBBISH SITE - outdated with no automatic notifications
IGNORANT WOMEN- who will not reply, cant even make proper profiles.

Pros
It makes you realise just how shallow sooooo many women are.

Cons
The whole damn site.

I couldn't agree more with this comment and is summed up very well indeed. Firstly, I’m a good looking guy and had much success from paid dating sites and always have a photo uploaded which has always worked well for me, simply based on this one fact alone, I’ve had dates with virtually very little profile text at times……just saying, btw!
I’m absolutely convinced the web designers have made a logarithm on the Smooch web site where ones profile and photo actually becomes invisible and not crop up in searches soon after joining., particularly men’s profiles. This has an effect where one can get anxious as to why nobody is checking you out, even after you you’ve looked at someone else’s profile (which they can see) they do not reciprocate. This scamming little trick will then prompt many to part with money in order to get noticed.
I’ve been on various dating sites for over 7 years (on and off) the same old faces/profiles still lurk on many, some even with the same photo. Many profiles are completely bogus and at the end of the day, most of the women really don’t want to date and just like their ego being stroked with all the attention from other males, behind the safety of cyberspace without actually wanting to meet anyone.
I’ve had many top dates with woman over the years from paid dating web sites and thought I would give Smooch a go as it’s free but it’s a pretty futile web site overall. Imho.
Best to stick with paid sites like datingdirect.com or perhaps match.com, Smooch will only work I guess if you hand over the contents of your wallet, but based on how they operate in the free subscription zone, I don’t like or trust any of it in order to give them my credit card details.
